Saving and Managing Your Prompts

Keep your work safe and manage multiple prompt maps.

Auto-save without an account

Good news: your work is saved automatically in your browser as you go. You don't need to hit a save button — every change is stored locally on your device.

But there's a catch. If you clear your browser data, switch to a different device, or use a different browser, your prompt maps won't be there. They're tied to that one browser on that one machine.

We strongly recommend creating a free account. It takes 30 seconds and means your prompts are saved to the cloud — accessible from any device, any browser, anytime.

Creating an account

Setting up an account is quick and gives you a much safer home for your work:

1
Click Sign Up in the top-right corner of the screen.
2
Enter your email address and choose a password (or sign in with Google).
3
Confirm your email if prompted.
4
That's it — any prompt maps you've already built in this browser will automatically sync to your new account.

Clicking Sign Up → entering email and password → confirming → seeing existing prompt maps sync to the new account

My Prompts dashboard

Once you're logged in, click "My Prompts" in the sidebar. This is your home base — a dashboard showing all your saved prompt maps.

Each card shows the agent's name, the agent type (customer support, sales, etc.), when it was last edited, and its quality score. You can click any card to jump straight into editing that map.

Clicking 'My Prompts' in the sidebar → dashboard loads showing prompt map cards with agent name, type, last edited date, and quality score

Version history

Every time you save, a new version is created behind the scenes. Think of it like Google Docs version history — you can always go back.

Click "Version History" on any prompt map to see a timeline of your previous versions. You can preview what each version looked like and restore any older version with one click. The current version won't be deleted — it just becomes another entry in the history.

Version history is especially handy when you're experimenting. Try something bold, and if it doesn't work out, just roll back. No risk.

Opening a prompt map → clicking Version History → scrolling through previous versions → previewing one → clicking Restore

Duplicating a map

Want to create a variation of an existing prompt without changing the original? Easy.

On the My Prompts dashboard, click the three-dot menu on any card and choose "Duplicate." This creates an exact copy of the entire map — all nodes, all content, all connections. Edit the copy however you like. The original stays untouched.

Deleting a map

If you're done with a prompt map and want to clean things up, click the three-dot menu on the card and choose "Delete."

Deleting is permanent. You'll be asked to confirm before anything is removed, so you won't accidentally lose your work — but once confirmed, it's gone for good.

Free vs Pro limits

On the free plan, you can save up to 3 prompt maps. That's plenty to get started and build a few agents.

If you need more, Pro ($8.95/month) gives you unlimited prompt maps, full version history, and access to the community library where you can browse and fork other people's agents. It's built for people who use prompt maps regularly or want to explore what others have created.

Not sure if you need Pro? Start with the free plan. You can always upgrade later, and nothing you've built will be lost.

You just learned how your work is saved — automatically in the browser, and securely in the cloud with an account. You know how to use the My Prompts dashboard, browse version history, duplicate maps for experimentation, and delete maps you no longer need. Your prompt maps are safe and organized.
